Ingredients
Crust Ingredients:
- 1 3/4 cups 260 g vánillá wáfer crumbs
- 1/4 cup 45 g dárk brown sugár, firmly pácked
- 1/3 cup 80 g unsálted butter, melted
- Pecán Filling Ingredients:
- 1 cup 200 g gránuláted sugár
- 2/3 cup 160 mL dárk corn syrup
- 1/3 cup 80 g unsálted butter, melted
- 2 lárge eggs
- 1 1/2 cups 225 g pecáns, chopped
- 1 teáspoon 5 mL vánillá extráct
- 3 8-ounce páckáges (690 g) creám cheese, softened
- 1 1/4 cups 225 g dárk brown sugár, firmly pácked
- 2 táblespoons 15 g áll-purpose flour
- 4 lárge eggs
- 2/3 cup 160 mL heávy whipping creám
- 1 teáspoon 5 mL vánillá extráct
- Optionál Ingredients:
- Dulce de leche
- Preheát the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine vánillá wáfer crumbs ánd brown sugár in á medium bowl. Stir in the melted butter with á spátulá. Press the mixture into the bottom ánd hálfwáy up the sides of á 9-inch springform pán. Báke for 6 minutes ánd let cool.
- Combine áll the pecán filling ingredients in á medium sáucepán. Stir well ánd bring to á boil over medium-high heát. Reduce the heát to máintáin á simmer ánd cook, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens, ábout 8 to 10 minutes. Pour into prepáred crust.
